Who are you?

I'm Roberto Santos, a Brazilian software developer currently living in UK and studying at the Nottingham Geospatial Institute under the supervision of Dr Adam Algar, Dr Richard Field, Dr Didier Leibovici and Dr Sean Mayes.

During my master's, I worked with Dr Heitor Lopes on the application of genetic algorithms to problems of facility location.

I'm interested in geographical information science and related topics such as spatial databases, spatial analysis, spatial data infrastructures, cartography and more recently, optimization, evolutionary computation, agrometeorology, environmental modeling, genetics and neglected and underutilised crops.
